It all began in 2001, after selling my barrel horse, I realized that I needed to have another animal in my life.  When trying to decide on what breed of dog I wanted, I kept thinking about the times when I was younger and worked cattle.  There were always cattledogs in the stock pens.   These dogs were smart and quick, they went all day long, and were happy all the time.  They were rugged, didn't show the dirt and were not a "frilly" dog.  I knew that this was the breed for me.

After doing research on the breed, (thanks Cattledog.com ) I finally started actively looking for a dog.  I wanted a blue male with a double mask.  I should have known that cattle dogs "make their own rules" when I was "picked" by 6 month old "Harley", a blue plain face female.  We attended obedience class at MADTA and had dreams of doing obedience and agility.  It has taken several years, but those dreams are now coming true.   In February of 2008, Harley earned her first Agility Title.  We just were late starters, thats all.

Well, I became a member of The Mid-Florida Australian Cattle Dog Fanciers and got on their list-serve and found out about Conformation Shows.  I met Deb Mintzer of Taylryder ACD's and she introduced me to the conformation ring.  Miss Harley went group 2 in her very first match outing.  What a thrill and I was hooked!!!!!!

One thing led to another and now we currently have three cattle dogs in residence at One Two Add A Blue.  We have "Harley" CH Hiredhand Flashback to Plateau NA NAJ CGC HIC, "Roo" CH Taylryders One Two Buckaroo CD RAE HIC and rounding out the cattle dogs is "CC" One Two Taylryders Eviction Note HIC.  

This is a photo of what a cattle dog can do when they get their mind to something.  This crate was located under a table with a table cloth on it.  He pulled the cloth until everything on the table was on the floor.  You must always remember the motto "A tired cattle dog is a happy cattle dog."
